Brad Horwitz is the President, CEO, and co-founder of Trilogy International Partners Inc. (TSX: TRL), a wireless telecom company operating in Latin America and the Pacific. He co-founded Trilogy in 2006 with John Stanton following the sale of Western Wireless Corporation to Alltel. Trilogy acquired wireless assets in Haiti, Bolivia, and later expanded into the Dominican Republic and New Zealand, eventually going public in 2017 via a merger with Alignvest Acquisition Corp.
Previously, Mr. Horwitz founded and led Western Wireless International, expanding into 11 global markets, and served as EVP of Western Wireless Corp., where he helped launch VoiceStream, now T-Mobile USA. From 1992–1995, he co-founded and served as COO of SmarTone in Hong Kong, on secondment from AT&T Wireless (formerly McCaw Cellular), where he held senior roles from 1983 to 1995.
Mr. Horwitz currently sits on the boards of Hong Kong Broadband (Chairman), the Center for Global Development, and the Mobile Giving Foundation.
