Haris Fontaine provides support to KRL senior staff through research and analysis, drafting and editing, database management, and stakeholder engagement.

Prior to joining KRL, Haris helped foreign public and private sector clients navigate the U.S. nuclear energy industry at International Technology & Trade Associates. He also held positions at UN Women, where he supported the Executive Board Secretariat, and the US Fund for UNICEF, where he produced advance intelligence briefings for high-level donors visiting UNICEF missions in sub-Saharan Africa and Latin America.

As a graduate student at Georgetown University, Haris studied international security issues and completed a capstone project evaluating the security risks of Saudi Arabia’s nuclear program. He and his team won first place at the Fletcher Political Risk Student Case Competition at Tufts University in 2020.

Haris holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations from New York University, and a master’s degree from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service. He is fluent in French.
