Brad Horwitz, in partnership with John Stanton, founded Trilogy International Partners LLC in 2006 following the sale of Western Wireless Corporation to Alltel. Trilogy International was formed to acquire wireless assets in Haiti and Bolivia that had been founded and developed by Mr. Horwitz and his team under the Western Wireless International banner.  Subsequently, additional wireless assets were purchased and developed in the Dominican Republic and New Zealand. In 2012 and 2016, Trilogy International Partners LLC sold its Haiti and Dominican Republic subsidiaries and in 2017 it merged with Alignvest Acquisition Corporation, a Canadian entity, becoming Trilogy International Partners Inc., which is publicly listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX:TRL).

Prior to forming Trilogy, Mr. Horwitz served as president of Western Wireless International, having founded the company in 1995 and expanding into 11 international markets prior to the time of the Alltel transaction.  In addition, he also served as an executive vice president of Western Wireless Corporation, which created both the domestic and international assets of Western Wireless as well as Voicestream (sold to Deutsche Telecom and now known as T-Mobile).

From 1992 to 1995, Mr. Horwitz was a founder and Chief Operating Officer of SmarTone Mobile Communications Limited (Hong Kong) while under secondment from AT&T Wireless Services, Inc. (then McCaw Cellular Communications, Inc.). From 1983 through 1995, Mr. Horwitz worked in various management capacities for McCaw Cellular including serving as Vice President of International Operations.

In addition to serving as the President and CEO of Trilogy International Partners Inc., Mr. Horwitz serves on the company’s board of directors. He is an independent non-executive director and Chairman of the board of Hong Kong Broadband, a publicly listed provider of fiber services in Hong Kong, and is a member of the boards of the Center for Global Development and the Mobile Giving Foundation.
