As a Senior Associate at KRL, Alex provides support to KRL principals and to clients in the areas of communications, government relations, and commercial diplomacy. He produces a weekly news analysis report for all clients, and contributes to the firm's long-form research products.
Prior to joining KRL in 2019, Alex worked at the Office of Central Africa in the U.S. State Department focusing on the Great Lakes region. He served as the acting Desk Officer for Rwanda and Burundi. He previously interned for GPS with Fareed Zakaria on CNN and for ABC World News Tonight.
Alex holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and English from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree in international relations from Seton Hall University. He has lived in South Africa, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Botswana, and speaks Spanish.
