KRL International LLC, a Washington-based consultancy, is pleased to welcome Mark C. Clack as a Senior Advisor. Mr. Clack expands the depth of advisory services KRL provides its corporate, government, political and cause-related clients.
Mr. Clack comes to KRL from the U.S. Senate, where he was serving as Senator Ben Cardin’s (D-MD) Senior Legislative Assistant. He was responsible for the Senator’s portfolios on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and the U.S.–Helsinki Commission. Mr. Clack also worked in the House of Representatives, as both professional staff for the House International Relations Committee and as a legislative director for a democratic member. Mr. Clack has worked with a number of development-oriented NGOs with operations in Africa and the Americas. He brings significant campaign experience to the company and has previously served as the national field secretary for the NAACP. “Mark’s expertise in policymaking, legislative affairs, and grassroots campaigning will build on the company’s core strengths and expand KRL’s capacity in our strongest growth areas,” offers K. Riva Levinson, KRL’s Managing Director. “Mark’s skill set and record of achievement will be a great asset to KRL’s expanding client base.”
KRL International LLC was established in 2007 by K. Riva Levinson to meet the growing demand from decision-makers looking for comprehensive services to bridge the divide between United States and global emerging markets. Levinson was joined by Molly McKew, who was formerly the research manager for foreign policy and defense policy at the American Enterprise Institute. The company excels in providing communications counsel, B2B partnerships, and government relations services.
“KRL has spotted the trend in Washington and international consulting toward custom-fit planning, efficient implementation, and value-for-dollar—and away from power-brokering,” says Mr. Clack. “I think KRL occupies a cutting-edge and growing niche in the market. I have watched the company’s work with the government of President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf of Liberia and other clients and have been impressed with their ability to deliver results.”
